About Us
Our History
Stand United 4 Christ began in response to God’s Word, particularly His message through the book of Amos. In this Scripture, God condemns His people for focusing on their own comfort while neglecting justice and the needs of others.
This conviction stirred a vision rooted in God’s call to love our neighbors and pursue righteousness. Stand United 4 Christ was formed with the belief that when believers unite in obedience to God’s commands, far more can be accomplished for His Kingdom. Through unity in Christ, we seek to meet the vast needs of the world with compassion, truth, and action.
Our Mission
We are Christians devoted to sharing Christ’s love with “the least of these,” while also looking for ways to inspire and empower other Christians to do the same.
It’s a modern paradox: Technology has created an interconnected world, yet we often live more isolated and disconnected from each other. But Christ calls us to connection—pairing works with faith, compassion with service, giving with purpose and uniting God’s people. We don’t want to just talk about being a Christian and the problems of the world; we want to do something about it. We want to live as though Matthew 25:40 is an urgent call to action and actively loving people the way Jesus loves us.
Our Statement of Faith
When someone asked Jesus which commandment in the law is greatest, Matthew 22:37-40 tells us that:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
So while we all attend different churches and are members of different denominations—and we support multiple organizations whose beliefs are likewise diverse—we believe these verses are the most clear, succinct expression of our shared faith.
We focus on the essentials—God is holy and exists in three persons (The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit); Christ is Lord; The Bible is the infallible Word of God; We are sinners, and Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
We don’t get trapped into debating denominational differences because that’s not our focus. And while evangelism is certainly an important aspect to our organization, we have a “believers first” focus. We’re here to equip and activate Christians while believing the Holy Spirit will provide opportunities to evangelize non-believers when we are faithful to His call to love people as He loves people.
Our Team
Our staff members and board of directors live and love like Jesus and help other Christians do the same.
President/CEO
Jim Stanford
As an entrepreneur, Jim has committed his career to seeking business opportunities which enable him to live out his faith through his work. As president of a utility construction company, he seeks to glorify God by operating on Christian principles. The Lord’s provision in his business opened the door for establishing a Tacos 4 Life franchise with the goal of ending world hunger through their meal for meal program. Jim has served as a pastor, youth pastor, deacon, and has volunteered as leadership for several youth camps and classes. With a passion for the lost, his desire is to enable and equip others to participate in their personal call to serve others as Christ served the church through mission opportunities and education both locally and around the world.
